30g Organic Oats

Tbsp Chia Seeds/Mixed seeds

½ tsp ground cinnamon

Tsp maple syrup

100ml Almond milk (or milk of your choice)

Fresh/frozen berries

I love this recipe because it is so easy to make and so adaptable. Depending on the season or your mood, you can mix up your toppings so I’d encourage swapping the berries for things like stewed pear or chopped banana and the mixed seeds for nuts or even nut butter. However you make your overnight oats, one thing is for sure, you will be delighted with yourself when you have a delicious and healthy breakfast in a matter of minutes in the morning!


  1. Mix the oats, chia seeds (if using mixed seeds, only add this at the end), cinnamon, maple syrup and milk in a bowl the evening before you plan to eat this dish.
  2. Cover and leave in the fridge overnight.
  3. Transfer to a pot and warm over a medium heat for about 5-10 minutes.
  4. Pour heated mixture back into your serving bowl.
  5. Add the mixed seeds and berries to serve. Add a splash more milk if the mixture has thickened too much.


Note: This recipe can also be eaten cold or transferred to a jar for a super-healthy breakfast on the go.
